How does the critical-level alert work?
You define a critical level for each product based on its production pace (e.g. "alert if it drops below 20 kg"). When available stock falls below that level, the product is flagged in the stock list — no separate report to open, it shows up in your daily flow.

For catering companies running multiple warehouses or branches, transfers are recorded as a distinct operation: the difference between the quantity sent from one warehouse and the quantity received at another remains visible in the system as "waste" — it isn't lost or deleted, and it can be reported on.

Where does the critical-level alert show up?
Instead of a separate notification screen, the alert appears directly on the affected product's row in the stock list; scanning the list during your morning check surfaces anything below its critical level, with no extra report to open.
Can a waste record be corrected later?
The gap that appears in an inter-warehouse transfer is kept as a permanent waste record; it isn't deleted automatically, but an authorized user can still add a correction or note. This keeps the waste history reportable over time.
